The Hypnotherapy Association held its annual conference in the Royal Court Hotel, Tamworth on Saturday 13th April 2019.
There were over 40 delegates in the rooms with 4 presentations from speakers from the UK and Ireland.
The Association details are here https://www.thehypnotherapyassociation.co.uk/aimsofthehypnotherapyassociation
There was a mix of presentations and to be very honest all, very interesting and not all Hypnosis.
So let me introduce them, To be

Neurofeedback has been around since the 1960s and because of increased computer power developed considerably in the last 10 years. The underlying concept is that the brain’s electrical activity – often called brainwaves (delta, theta, alpha, beta and gamma) is linked at any one moment to our state of mind and brain function. Certain brainwaves may create useful or positive states of mind (e.g. alpha brainwaves are good for relaxing, healing and learning) and certain brainwaves are associated with a range of dysfunction.
Neurofeedback has an impressive history with outstanding results with conditions such as epilepsy, ADHD, depression, PTSD, addiction.

This was a real story of a mum of 4
Ask Helen about the Koala Bear burning down a school, its a funny story but highlights a loving parents journey through Anarchy.
Autism
We know about the isolation, the destruction, the physical attacks, the disapproval, the rejection, the emotional roller-coasters, the tears, the guilt and the despair, and that’s precisely why All Stars is run the way it is. We aim to give people something bright, colourful and uplifting to enjoy, not more doom and gloom – presumably they get enough of that already. We offer them somewhere their children are welcome no matter how they behave; somewhere people genuinely understand and accept them; somewhere they can smile and feel just a little less alone.
Next Hypnotherapist Jenny Lynn from Andover

Great presentation about a personal journey into Hypnotherapy and Hypnosis.
Jenny gave us an account of her journey, the medical teams and the psychiatrists on the way. It was absolutely enthralling to watch and listen to. A mixture of Hypnosis, physics and a story from the heart.
